hi,
still sourcing gauges at the moment - seen a nice defi link display think to work alongside defi link control unit 2. but may just go for normal gauges.
any advice on where to go to get them fitted if it looks too complicated for me...
as a school teacher, i am not always that good with cars!!

it is a 2002 bugeye, I have purchased a carbon fibre pod to go in the centre of the dash to replace the panel with the clock in. also purchased a sandwich plate to fit between oil filter. The gauges are electronic and I have gone for boost, oil temp and oil pressure. here is a pic of one;

I am not sure on sandwich plate fitting and am hoping instructions with gauges are clear..
cheers

When I saw them I thought they were cool, so opted for them too. I also bought this to go with them - centre pod dash mount-
SUBARU REAL CARBON FIBRE TRIPLE DASH POD

after researching, I like the centre pod idea better..

ive got the flat top to match the interior.
as far as I can tell (havent fitted them yet) the sandwich plate should be fairly obvious to fit.
I havent fitted them as a mate is making up a better tee for the boost gauge, hopefully anodised in red.

you got a pic of the sandwich plate?
iirc their is not much room by the oil filter, so it would take some fitting.
I would have thought a T-piece connector and an additional sensor put where the std oil pressure switch is would be best. (Behind the Alternator)

I will let you know how much room their is, but i do not recall their being enough for that to fit.
I could be wrong though.

would fit them too, but im all the way up here and you are all the way down their.
Would recomend a New oil Filter at the Same time, and if oil has not been changed for a while would be a good time.

ok no problems.
I have just looked at the Newaga manual and it looks like loads of room so should be no problem.

Thank goodness for that, I was beginning to wonder what I would do. I currently have 5w 40 oil in, where would be a good place or what is a good brand of 5w 40 oil to buy?
Now cannot wait to get the gauges in the post and attempt a fitment.
nice one guys
