This was mentioned at ASW meet on Sunday so thought I would post the question!!!
Can we give some thought now as to where and when next years AGM is going to be held?? :scratchchin:
I remember that at this years AGM we discussed having it at Pontins or somewhere like that so that advanced members could make a weekend of it if they wanted to or just come along for the AGM itself.
It makes sense to consider this now so that -
A) We can book somewhere now and not struggle to find a suitable venue nearer the time.
B) Members can keep the date free and come along, therefore better support for club and the more members present, the more the decisions made at the AGM will be representative of the membership.
C) We will have more time available in the lead up to the event to consider any important issues raised instead of worrying about where its going to be held, etc.
Thanks for listening!

Ok - sounds good to me!
When tho???:scratchchin:
Easter is in March in 2008, but the kids "easter" holidays are not till April!!!!!:rolleyes1:
Have looked on Pontins website - 3 day weekend breaks in April from £100, plus groups of 20 or more get discounts so worth making enquiries once we have an idea on numbers, etc.

Anyone want to organise this then???? Dont all volunteer at once!!!!! lol:biggrin:

Yes please any help gratefully accepted! We can talk about it at the meet on Sat evening!
As SL says a family event would be better as most of us have kids:wink: Otherwise perhaps we could rent a large shipping container for the weekend.......................!! lol

No idea - was waiting for date from committee, but have now given up co-ordinator job and am not an advanced member so won't be going to AGM at this moment in time!
Someone else will have to organise!
