Cornish September 7th Meet

The September meet will be on Friday the 7th time tba

Tonydatiger and ScoobyEm have suggested having a meet at The New Inn Gorranhaven Nr StAustell, before we make it definate, can I have some idea of who would be comming please. If we dont get many names then it will probably be held localy.

Hiya,

Just a quick one to say that the Gorrenhaven we went to was just the other side of Newquay! Might be a bit for for our "up country" friends! If so thats cool, was just an idea! Catcha laterz,

I'm well confused now :confused: i thought Gorran haven was near St Austell the only place near Newquay I know is Goonhavern :confused::smile:

We have held a couple of meets at Bodmin which is quite central about 35miles from here with an open invitation to everyone to join us if they wish.

Just a heads up stefan, im having problems fitting this tsl decat as early jdm's used a small lambda, typical.

Anyway i'll try to sort the right sensor before the meet, i'll do my best to make a showing however. :smile:

Is your o2 sensor on yours in the up pipe? if so and the tsl downpipe has a hole for the one in it, just get a bolt that fits, cover the threads in exhaust sealer and plug it up. I had it on mine and pluged it up with a gearbox oil level grub screw, did it a treat.

Nope it's on the downpipe just after the cat, and is about half the size of your typical lambda.

Anyway i think ive sussed which one it requires, any 3 wire zirconia sensor will do. :smile:

Ok, ive spoken to a few ppl and the sensor is just an egt, keeps an eye on exhaust temps and is not ecu related so i can just tuck it away.

I do have to get a second bung for the lambda as early classics keep the sensor in the headers it seems.

Just washed the Scoob and noticed an oil leak! Will get onto it now but if its bad mite have to drop out:( Should be a 10 min fix though:cool:
