wrx bonnet

hi guys and girls,
can anyone answer this,

has a bugeye impreza wrx have a steel or alloy bonnet as standard as i need one for my sti but dont wanna get caught out buying a steel one as i know classics can have either.

As far as I know on my 2002 car Its a steel bonnet!

i think the way to tell is in the weight of the bonnet and alloy is really light

just a quick test for you, get a magnet and touch the under neath of your bonnet (not the top , or your scratch the paint work) if it sticks it's steel, if not its alloy !

i had a knacked alloy one (the orignal) and replaced it with a cheap carbon one (which is heavier!!) till i could get round to putting a orignal one back on!!
