Ive just had my renewel through from Norwich Union Direct, before I was paying 1,300 a year full comp. Now they are asking for 1,789 a year!! They have said its gone up as I had a non fault axcident (I wasnt even in my car) :ranting:
They think because of that im more likely to have a axcident in the next 3 years.

Can anyone reconmend any sensible insurance companys?
I might just have to put mine up for sale and get a turbo as my mods do bup the price up a lot.

Nick.

MY husband is an insurance assessor and he does know his ass from his elbow!!!

He's the guy who holds the key to whether your claim for your smashed car is paid out or not - try defrauding an insurance company at your peril - you may find when you want money to have your car replaced or repaired - your fault or not - that you receive either no money or significantly less than you believe is market value, when they refuse to pay out for your mods!

Try Bell; they came out cheapest on a screen scraper search I used and they are supposed to specialize in young drivers.

Have a go at this - nothing ventured nothing gained!

Welcome to MyThingE.com (http://www.mythinge.com/)

Apparently you upload you and your car details, cover you are looking for and the insurance companies will under cut each other for your business - I confess I haven't tried it yet, but people on other forums have and say its good!
