just though i would give a bit of feedback re: me new alarm...

so the clifford is in and it tops - so far...

remote locking and total closure - sweet.

remote start - excellent and lovin it!

blackjax - already switched off... enter a code everytime a door opens!!!

smart windows - still aint worked that out yet...

more functions than i can believe - opens windows or starts air con if it gets too hot...

if it gets below freezing it starts to make sure it does not freeze...

proximity alerts etc...

and it all talks to me laptop too.

very impressed - but as i said sooooo far...

lastly many thanks to derek for some quick advice when i got a bit stuck.

Keep your battery topped up, my clifford will drain a battery in 3 to 4 days.

yep when the battery reaches 10V the car starts. as it will not start with 9v

charges it up for upto 30 mins.....

However, this only works if you enable the Intelistart.

i do not bother any more.....

and i leave my car standing for weeks and NEVER get a flat battery.... Mind you my battery is new.

My old Sport (which Derek currently has) has got a Clifford on it, and in the 3 yrs i owned it, never had a problem with it at all.
