I know I've spent a lot of time on this site recently, and I think my pc is trying to tell me something!!!!

But - every day at approx 4pm, usually when I post or click on a thread my pc logs me off this site and will not let me back onto it - it comes up with the same page telling me it cannot find the server - yet I can log onto any and every other site I want on the net!:rolleyes1:

I have tried wiping the history, cleaning the cache, rebooting, checking there are no viruses, etc but nothing seems to work!:frown:

Stupidly, if I try to get on site the following morning it comes up with no problems!:rolleyes1:

Any ideas???

Thanks

Liz:smile:

Sounds like you might have the same problem I had a few weeks ago. I would log on in the evening bout 6ish but by about 9 I was getting server not found errors yet I could go to other sites. It turned out to be the DNS numbers that my ISP were automatically allocating to my router. I poked around my ISPs help pages and found another set of router ip addresses. Stuck these in and I've had no problems since.

Sounds like the dns at your isp is playing up

go into your router and where it says get dns ip from isp replace it with the primary and seconday ip adresses at the bottom of this site, it should in theory sort your problem out
