I got mine a 03wrx last year. It was standard, I changed the back box to a afterburner and changed the air filter. I put the scoob on the rollling road down at AP motors, wow it came in at 255 bhp just with the back box and filter change.Since then Ive took two cats off, Still got the the cat in the Down pipe which is the big one. And last week I got 271 bhp on the rolling road, so Im well Happy. :action-smiley-065:

Just watch out. Your scoob may over boost. Its common with the new age. A remap may be your next mod. Thats why I havint done mine yet.

     - know what ya mean - have 3 Boys - older 2 no probs even when they were that age but the youngest who is now 15 I have a job to keep myself from having "serious words" with him - he's 16 in 4 months so have told him unless things seriously improve he will be looking for alternative accomodation............
coolscoob23
31-01-2006, 23:56 54
we had that over xmas had to get her from town p1$$ed and had serious words she said she was leaving home at 16,she cant even be arsed to clean up after herself, iorn, put plates in dishwasher ect but thinks she leave home, grounded for 2 weeks and she seems to have calmed down a bit now, lets hope it lasts, allthough she has just been suspended from school for decking some girl who was bullying her sister how wrong is the school as the bully walks free

Jamie was the Bully - School expelled him just over a year ago - he's at college - would you belive bloody part time - we have gone thru just about every avenue to try and keep him on the straight and narrow - almost on first name terms with some of the local police - disappears for 2 or 3 days at a time - it has put a hell of a strain on our marriage ( Jacqui is his step mum - his real mother wants nothing to do with him ) - he just doesnt give a toss about anyone or anything - he doesnt realise that he is throwing his life away and I find that really really sad cos he is a real intelligent kid.

i no what you mean i am the step dad real dad jumped under a train 6 yrs ago(dick head)and julie and i had to pick up the pieces and still are at times we havent had the police on the door yet but it does put a strain on things at times, worst of all we sure she was dabbling with chemicals befor we grounded her but seems to have moved away from thet crowd so i suppose the boy thing aint so bad if thats why she left some of bad crowd
Edmondo
01-02-2006, 00:14 59
we are sure he is / has played with funny substances - he is very good at borrowing things on a no return basis as well especially from Jacqui - I picked up yesterday after a 2 day jaunt away from home and all he has done is stay in his bedroom and doesnt talk to any of us in the house

we had to sped all night in front room with her think it was bad trip or something, some of the things she said her mother,i felt like decking her myself, had to get up for work 7.00 am after going to bed at 5.45 am whilst she spent the day asleep!we think alot of it is pent up anger over her rejection from father, but i did learn to play poker that night online

first wife walked out when he was 7 - at 9 he had to go and live with her ( cos the Child Courts said so:angry-smiley-055: :angry-smiley-055: :angry-smiley-055: ) - he became pretty feral over there and was we are sure abused - we got him back at 11 and the last 4 1/2 years has been very difficult - all sorts of outside agencies has been involved with him and none of the problems seems to have been resolved:j_sad:

tell me about we went the counselling road and it turned her into a monster!dont take this the wrong way but its good to hear we are not only ones with kid probs,i think the only way to deal with it is stick together as a couple both pulling the same way and have plenty of patience
Edmondo
01-02-2006, 00:36 21
Jacqui bless her has had to put up with so much **** from him - had stuff stolen from her by him and yet she will still defend him - but it has come to the stage that at 16 I may have no option but to tell him to get out............I will be gutted to the hilt and feel that I have failed

good to hear you got a good women there, there are plenty that would have gone,it it just a shame the kids wont see it untill thay are about 25,i have looked out for and supported are daughter for the last 10 yrs and i think maybe she is just starting to see i am not the bad guy now so there is hope
Edmondo
01-02-2006, 00:46 56
With this Scooby Club we have taken him to shows - turned his bedroom into a Subaru Shrine - got him involved as much as poss but it hasnt been enuff - you are right though he wont see it till he's 25 - the older ones are 20 and 19 and on the whole they get on with her - ups and downs every now again but no real probs - but I hope that when Jamie gets to 16 things have calmed but as it stands I am struggling to find a valid reason for him to stay under this roof.

I don't have kids:party0006:
Jamie is a good kid Ed and I'm sure he'll quieten down as he gets a bit older
Ahhhhhhhh, I think I can stand with Bob on this one (not often) but have been there and done that, had two step daughters live with me for the past 14 years, 18 and 20 now and have kinda found their way in life, but they still have moments but by and large have turned out ok.
Where abouts in Dorset are mate? I'm right up north of the county.
