hi to u all i would like to ask what is the standard boost pressure for a 94 wrx import? and what can it be upped to safely?

please help as newbie to scoobs

There standard at .8 bar the boost cut kicks in at 1.2-1.3 bar,as long as its set up properly it can go higher but anyting above standard boost needs tuning properly or a nasty gremlin could make it go bang.

cheers for the info. it has a HKS valve controller on low it seems to be set at .6 and on high its in the region of 1.2 bar. the car feels very quick and strong . i am thinking that the car has been tuned in japan as its feels really responsive . any idea on the power output with the car running 1.2 bar.

dont run it at more than .8 bar with no supperting fuel mods.........

it will all end in tears....remember japan has a higher octaine fuel than us...
