Car Stereo

Ive given my old stereo to my ex....he has a peugeot 306 estate...Had a blaupunkt

He wants to know, if anyone has a wiring diagram. He knows the middle two are for the power, but wants to know what the others do...Which is is the power and which is the speakers.

Think Ive explained it right.....Ive no idea what hes on about.....:redface:

Main power:

Black: To metallic body or chassis of the car.

Yellow: To a live terminal in the fuse block connecting to the car battery.

Red: To an accessory terminal in the fuse block.

Blue with white stripe: To the remote lead of other equipment (ie:amp) or power aerial if any.

Orange with white stripe: To the light control switch.

Brown: To cellular phone system.


Speaker wires:

White & White with black stripe: Left front

Gray & Graywith black stripe: Right front

Green & Green with black stripe: Left rear

Purple & Purple with black stripe: Right rear
