large carpark for opps,ideal back drop with sand dunes,reed grasses,even the old sherman tank if need be!!!...lol

if anyone fancies it we'l get it on.........so to speak....

if the pics are good enough,they could be used for an SWS calender i'm thinkin about knocking up.......

staying in hotel for the weekend

thought about going portreath with martyn but i have to be convinced first that the timing gear is sorted

heard last year a skyline doing 13 seconds at over 130 mph lol
130 is a high 10 second pass
13 seconds is more like 105-108 mph
my best so far with 340bhp was 12.578 at 109
should be in the low-mid 11s now at 120 - 125 ish

both in 4-wd cars , differ slightly to 2-wd, they have higher terminals normally due to crap launches.

the timing gear last time wasnt working at all , which is a pity cos could have used yours (old spec) as a guide. gt motorcycles organise it with celtic marauders motorbike club. ill find out what there doing for this year im sure they were upgrading it.

before that with the td04 turbo it was 15 seconds for 1/4 mile which probably aint far off but the terminal speed was 123 mph (i reckon around 98 would have been near).

If they get the timing gear right this year its a cracking venue with a friendly atmosphere , all sorts of different cars as well........:wink:

had some great races with a tuned M3 last year
he was running over 400 bhp and was consistently in the high 12s
i got better launches obviously but he always caught me near the end
his terminals were 115 ish , loads of spin on the line

well,it was good till i stuffed a fork selector lol
