Just discovered that someones had a pop at my drivers side door lock overnight with a screwdriver. I never use the door locks so i can still get in and out using the central locking as normal.
My cars trackered up, alarmed up and immobilised so why the hell has someone bothered having a go at it? Plus there's three different types of security wheel nut on each wheel too. A ten year old wrx aint actually even worth that much?? Leave my f**king car alone will ya?
Luckily, no tyre, paint or glass damage. I think i'll get the doors de-locked rather than repair the damaged lock.

No, purely a damaged lock and thats it. I dont know what they thought they'd do if they got the door open? the alarm would go off, it's immobilized and theres a tracker on it. I'm guessing these weren't pro's but kids who dont know how to nick a car properly.

My car was 'done over' whilst I was away last week up in Pompey. Kicked in the lights at the front and tried to rip my spoiler off... ****ers! If they had an ounce of intelligence they would have stolen it :-p

the car was outside my hotel in portsmouth when it took the beating... most prob from a jealous evo driver! :-p
got pulled by the fuzz last night and it was implied that I was stopped cos scoobie are synonymous with drug dealers... don't think my captain will be happy with my choice of second career!

i was only saying to the missus last night, that it's a shame when the twoccers, chavs and effing police force are the enemy. i've removed my door lock barrels and rods this morning and sealed up the holes. no more locks. :fuyou_2:
i better get some spare batteries for the keyfob ;o)

tell me about it. the thing that gets me is the way these people think that they can just walk up and take other peoples hard work away. i've spent time and money making that car as nice as i can. people just think they can help themselves to it.
anyway, i've done a very neat job of removing the locks, and i've sealed the holes with perfect fitting rubber grommets with a good lick of araldite around the inside groove. they can screwdriver them as much as they like - the fookin doors wont open!

No you shouldn't have to. I'm away working in Bristol for three days now too, so car is a sitting duck back here in Plymouth. Great huh? War against terrorism? The bast@rd terrorists are amongst us, never mind Iraq.

Sorry to hear the news M8 especially when you've just got the car all sorted and how you want it.

Cheers mate. The results of my de-locking can be seen in my SWS garage.
