I'm looking to do just this basic modification and then have the car re-mapped and that'll be it for me :)

I was wondering has I have the cat back Ninja system, what to do with the rest of the exhaust?? After talking to bob he says to get rid of the down pipe and cat and that'll do lovely... Question is, what do I get?

Are their Ninja replacements for the downpipe? I would want to get a sports cat as its about 1 or 2bhp difference compared to the straight through pipe...

Anyone got any suggestions? Oh and would it be worth while to get a 3" pipe for all the way through rather than what's on there now? I keep reading that 3" is best for the car??!?!?

you don't need a 3" bore unless you intend going over 350 bhp
keep your 2.5 system but do get a 3" downpipe

H+S open neck 3" down are the best downpipes IMO

Apparently there is a system with a sports cat for £300 in scooby world or something? Worth a look?

Sports cats are good if you don't want the hassle of changing the downpipe for every MOT and want to be legal when it comes to roadside checks.

I think the sports cats only drop a couple of bhp over the full decat.

Thats the only reason I'm going for a sports cat Neil as I wont have to worry or mess about with changing things over and so on when it comes to MOT's and especially road side checks, should that ever happen..

ScoobyDazza where and roughly how much are the H+S downpipes mate?

H+S make them to your spec

i believe they have the favourite already made though
ie , , open neck 3" down to 2.5" flange , that's the 1 you want
approx £200 iirc,i got mine on a SN group buy last year for 190 iirc
in saying that though, the 1 at scoobyworld does look tempting
it doesn't say what the bore is but it is open neck and does look 3" with 2.5" flange

All sounds good, but would the Scooby world models be good enough for what I want? I aint bothered about anymore power than 320bhp and I certainly aint modding it much to get there and if it dont, its not going to be the end of my life!!

I'm going to email Scooby World and see what they say....

the exhaust is a 3" down to a 2.5" to fit what I already have. So I think it's just a case of buying it, fitting it and re-mapping now.....

Isnt it?!
