Be carefull with removing things from the registery as if you remove the wrong thing and you havent got a backup, you might have to reinstall Windows...

I dont bother with programs like this myself, but then my PC's never stay installed long enough to warrent worrying about!!

Basically if things are installed that you dont use, simply uninstall them and then restart the PC and peform a disk clean up (selecting properties when right clicking on the drive (C: for example) and getting rid of those unwanted old compressed files or programs or cookies etc.. Then run a defragmenter program (dont use the windows one, its not all that good) and it should run faster

Also if your having problems with long start up times, click start, then click on run and type msconfig and press enter

Go to the startup tab and disable things in there that you dont want loaded when the PC first starts.
It will save loading time but also memory that you have installed on the PC

Any problems anyone, MSN me
