Craig,
15% discount would have been wonderful, pity you weren't interested in taking on my business despite myself and wife being 35&36 yoa, full no claims and clean licences, garaged, owned both the Forestor 2.5 XT and the Impreza STI for a year. So much for the performance car/ modified / convictions no problems adverts. I might talk to you again in August when renewals are due but you're going to have to try a lot harder if you want our business.

I agree with Dr Scoob though, when I started the mods on my car they didnt want to know telling me they didnt insure scoobies.

I have spoken to others who have had the same brush off, they appear to be inconsistent with what they are saying to different people.

I realise that he will never see the post. My reply really was to highlight the way they handle things. I couldn't have been more suprised given the way they advertise/market themselves. The conversation was inconsistent in itself "...there's no brokers on our books who'll quote for you. Errr, tell you what as you've had the car for a year there are 2 brokers who'll quote so long as it's garaged. Give us a call when you get your renewal through and we'll see if we want to quote" Make of that what you will. I couldn't make up my mind if that meant they would or they wouldn't. It certainly did make me feel like they really wanted my business at all. In fact I got they impression that they would rather I went elsewhere. Strange. What happened to straight talking and a set price per risk?

Insurance for me is a nightmare... After spending hours on the phone to get a price of £1900 I was still shocked but happy that I was going to be paying more than I had too...

Adrian Flux wheren't all that great when it came to a price... They where quite expensive...

I was told by a member of there helpful staff that THEY DONT INSURE TURBO'S...... performance car insurance that dont insure turbo's, bit like a milkman that doesn't deliver full cream milk.
