Attaining 300bhp

Will be looking in the future at tuning my MY97 UK turbo

So far it has:

Magnex centre decat and backbox
HKS decat downpipe

Also i have an STi8 TMIC at home ready to be fitted when i get round to it

Looking for 300bhp ish wouldn`t mind a few extra but would prefer not to have less. What parts should I upgrade and to what

You will def need a larger turbo a TD05/6 18G would do the trick. VF34 will also get there very easily and is much cheaper.
Injectors will need to be upgraded to 440's or 550's 440's will be ok for 320-340 550's will be ok for about 400 ish bhp.
Upgraded fuel pump will be required also FPR might be worth getting if going over the 320ish BHP.

You could look in for sale section my VF35 is for sale at a reasnable price i have seen over 350bhp with this, dyno sheets to prove and it spools up very quick.

vf34(cheapest option for 300+)
440cc injectors(good for 340bhp)
3 port boost solenoid(smoother boost)
STANDARD tmic will do(good enough for 330)
apexi thingy for mapping(try andyF,he travels)

thats about it really , not alot is it
yet i still spent 17k on mine to make 350 bhp lol

300bhp is a good target
with that you can keep your gearbox in working order and only clutch upgrade would be cheap ish
keep your tmic ,
maybe uprate your brakes

my aim was 300 but then on the rollers it produced 348.8
meaning i had to spend £2800 on me gearbox
and i done an exedy organic clutch in 4000 miles
