Rallyday 2007 will take place on Saturday 22nd September 2007 at Castle Combe Circuit in Wiltshire. The 2007 event has been moved to later in the year to avoid clashes with other major rallies and motorsport events.

Attractions at this years event are anticipated to be the most spectacular yet following very positive meetings between the organisers, WRC teams and various suppliers to the rally industry. To manage the further growth of Rallyday 2007, the main paddock area will be extended to meet the annually increasing demand for traders and rally teams. Additional club display areas are also being introduced to accommodate the anticipated 70+ motor clubs and car clubs which form a major attraction for many visitors.

Everyone who books with us, and comes on our stand will automatically be given a Paddock Pass.

SWs will have a stand we all Park in the Stand. They are always some at the stand so you can wonder off and have a good look round. Some will have Track passes and will take cars from stand to the track and return. Paddock Passes are for entry to the paddock area. This is usally about £2:50 and most buy these on the day. In the paddock are race cars and race car companies. There is also stalls for purchasing car items.

Payment MUST be received by 11.00pm on 31st March, or we will be unable to have a stand, due to the high volume of new car clubs attending.....Its a first come, first served basis.

We were slow at taking payment for Japfest, as this has resulted in SWS loosing our space for track time, and may also not give us the stand we want. If you dont pay by the deadline, you wont get onto the SWS club stand.

Sorry to sound like im cracking the whip, but this is important to us as a club. :smile:

HANNU MIKKOLA TO STAR AT RALLYDAY 2007Rallyday is delighted to confirm that rally legend Hannu Mikkola will make a rare UK appearance at this year’s event, at Castle Combe racing circuit on Saturday 22 September.

The 1983 World Rally Champion has been invited by PIAA UK to present the company’s Pioneer Awards, to people who have made a significant impression in motorsport in recent years. The manufacturer and supplier of high-performance lighting products is using the occasion to mark its 21st anniversary in Britain. Fans will be pleased to learn that Mikkola will drive a Mk2 Escort on the track and will be interviewed by Tony Mason during the day. He has also agreed to sign autographs on a series of limited-edition posters, produced exclusively for this event by PIAA.

Just tried to book my tickets direct from the rally day website but is only has spectator wristbands and states that you will have to park in the public carpark? is this correct or can i still get on the stand with a carpass? Not sure whether the wristband restricts you to public parking only irrespective of whther you have a pass or not

Anyone who has not put their name down for convoy, is in danger of not getting their tickets!

All ASW area tickets will be given to Nudge, prior to the day.

ALL OTHER TICKETS will be given to the Convoy Leader at Gordano Services, unless they are collected from myself, at the meet this saturday.

I have tried in vain to get you all to sign up for the convoys, so this is my last plea!!

Its your ticket, and its your show, so PLEASE sign the convoy lists!

Anyone who has not stated by FRIDAY NIGHT at 9pm, will automatically have their tickets/pass/track pass left with the Gordano Crew.
