If their had been more than two of you and we could have got a STD figure for a 2.5 then it would be worth doing.
I will look into a 2.5 class for the next RR if we can get at least another 1 to make it best of 3

No Worries Steve. But Please Remember we can only have 20 cars Run, and we already have 16 Down.
Thanks Olly Payment Recieved.
Now that would be an interesting comp to hold at Shows. Cleanest Engine Bay. :love0030:

Don't think you can have a std power for the 2.5. If you put the STD parts from a 2.0 on a 2.5 I think the 2.0 would be more powerfull...:hysterical:
How about 2.2's and 2.3's?
How about the new 2.5?
What about Nos?
Race fuel?
Olly/ You've look under my bonnet before haven't you....:hysterical: :hysterical:

Most are 2.0 i have not known a 2.2 or 2.3
I asked for model codes, so i could check the STD engine, and Bhp. thus way we know tru figures.
At all RR Shootouts, i have been to AA run with & Without Nos was done. The Figures Used will be Without Nos.
Race Fuel, we have no way to check so id have to Pass on that one, But 5 or 6 bottles of octane booster, should see you up around Race fule octane levels.
would not like to try it though.

Only joking Derek...:hysterical: Would not expect a 2.5 to be compaired to a 2.0. Bit like having a larger turbo or larger injectors against STD..:hysterical: :hysterical:
2.2 = 22B
2.3 = Stroker kit. :giggle:

Interpro said 20 is usually a Maximum. however they said they might be able to get another 1 or two on depending on time.
Barry,
The last time i was at interpro they gave two figures with and without NOS.
I will call them tomorrow to confirm.
However your bhp without Nos will be used for working out the Trophy.

change of plan for those coming from this side of the country - Derek we need a meeting point on the A38 or somewhere so we dont have to go down to come back up again and still be part of the convoy
Gonna be a bit difficult, what with the contraflow on the M5, and all.
Assuming the the convoy will make final exit at J16? (Almondsbury), there's a layby just up the A38 (by the Police Traffic HQ  ) or another a few 100 yds further up just passed the Lower Almondsbury turn. It's small, but OK for a few cars to wait ?

NO!!!!
M5 north of M4 is to far.
If you're coming west along the M4, suggest coming off @ Bristol onto M32 then straight off again to head west on the A4174 ring road. At Filton roundabout go right onto A38 and follow north to Thornbury, ~5-6 miles. Turn left @ Hyundai Dealership towards Thornbury.

Your car will feel better on cheaper fuels like 95 ron and will give more power up to a point. However higher ron fuels will help with the det. You cannot expect to put high grade fuel in the car and expect it to go better if the car was not mapped for this. But like putting racing fuel in a car mapped for 95 ron it will not give any improvement. The car has to be mapped for the race fuel to get any gain.

Well I had a great time. I never thought I would be so nervous about putting my car on. But all went well. I have added the few pictures I took to my site at www.dprphoto.co.uk click on sws cars and scroll down and you can watch my video of my car going through its paces on my site as well on the front page.
Well done to everyone who took part.:terrific:

interesting result for mine.
i have had 3 runs at the powerstation all being very consistant and with in 5% and pretty much what you would expect with the mods i have.
interpro rollers showed i had lost around 20 hp but gained 20 lbsft of torque???
i had what i think was a bad batch of fuel the day before and the car was not happy. so after interpro i went home put in some fresh optimax from a different garage and did an ecu reset.
the car feels alot better and pulls a bit better.
wish i had done that before going on the rollers now

Think yourself lucky I lost 15 bhp and 30 ft/lbs torque. Think I will have to pop up to Well Lane and get that plus another 50/50 back....:hysterical: :hysterical:

Its ok for some! My results where shocking but good :) 279BHP/289LB FT Torque... Not bad considering its just the exhaust from the cat back and the panel filter that has been changed... Maybe a few more might have been nice tho...
