As someone with a non turbo scooby, i thought i'd invest in a turbo bonnet, STI8 scoop and 22B vents. So they're being painted tomorrow (Monday 11th), but my main concern when i fit the bonnet is that rain/water/anything in the air will get into places it shouldn't, what does everyone think? Someone told me that the vents are blanked off anyway on turbo's but i'm not sure. And if they are, what do i blank them off with?

Vents are blanked off but most remove the vent above air filter if they have cone fitted.

i have the 22b vents and they don't leak water onto my induction kit

would look better with the 'normal size' classic middle scoop though IMO

Yeah maybe but i couldn't find one for love nor money so i settled with the STI8, i dry-fitted it on the bonnet and it looks fine.:smile:

Never had the blanking plates fitted on the Type R eaither...Never had a problem.
