going to get me some of those TOYO PROXES TR1's as a small treat to myself

I have 17" rims, what would be best size for them, and where is a good cheap place to get them from:confused:

car is a 2006 WRX, not STi

Like the Toyo's myself. F1's have a very soft sidewall great for wet weather but do overheat on track in the dry. I do like the tread pattern on the F1's though looks well cool.

i've only had the T1S and love them , just bought my 2nd set now.
the T1R are supposed to be better
can't beat them for value , brilliant in the wet and dry

as my many trophies will prove

Daz/ are they still having problems with sidewall splitting with the F1 tyres? Had all 4 of mine split with still 50% tread left. Nozzer had the same but gave the tyes and wheels to Poxy who noticed this. Gizzmo managed to get a 50% discount from goodyear because of this also...Just wondering if goodyear have sorted this problem out yet.

dunno about the goodyears Bob , never had them so can't comment

i do,however, know the avon zz3's split lol , mind you, to be fair to avon, i was racing with a very buckled wheel when it went

i'll stick to the toyos for now, but i would also consider nankang ns2 next time, check them out on mytyres.co.uk the report is very good and there cheap as chips . . .
