Tiley's are building a car from scratch. I will be taking a few pic's as they build the car.
The FIA shell came yesterday and today was converted from left hand drive to RHD. The bulkhead of Gavo's car was used for this.

The car when finnished will be entering the championship races at Castle Coombe, so going up against Poxy and Terry. Should be fun...

Nick the owner of Tiley's and driver will be mesured up for the seat soon so as the stearing can be placed as he wants it.
The bars for the seats has to be changed as its going from LHD to RHD and the bars are to possition the balance with drive and co driver. Of course there will be no co driver in the CC championships.

Bonnet will be much lighter when they chop the middle out of it...Nice try though Daz...:wink:

WRX300 spoiler, not saw one of these on a classic as yet, but think it will look good.

i'll swap them my UK if they want :)

Had another look and Dave has been filling holes, started on wiring loom, Fitted bonnet vent and done a bit of body stengthening. The seat rails are now in the right positions.

Was back to Tiley's today and the shell has most the holes filled and will be ready for spraying very soon. The loom is in place and Dave will be removing the wiring that is not required. The loom will then be removed and the car will be of to WSM for the spray job.

Scoop came off the old race car...Do not think these are permitted with the saloon car championships...Same as rear spoiler think the original spoiler must be used also...Looks like one set up for showing and another for racing..:rolleyes1:

Another trip to Tiley's today. The car is now ready to be stripped again for the paintwork.
Love the dash feels like suede, coated with glue electricallycharged and sprayed with the fluffy stuff. :cool: Nice job of roof vents,:cool:
Colour = Lambo orange..Looks much better than it sounds...:hysterical:

Have asked Dave for pic's of engine build and write up on parts used, so hope to go into engine build in some detail. Dave says they do not want to go twisted turbo as still require some low down torque. New suretrac diff has also arrived.:wink:

Building new engine (Closed Deck)but using the all parts from old engine. So expect about 550 BHP as before.

engine up to mat at rcms 2day to have the cams timed up with the ajustabel cam sprokets all is good . engine will go in the car on monday deu to a lot of work on this week :rolleyes1: and all going well the jaffa will b compleat by friday:biggrin: :eek:
