I would not recommend it....Some have had wheels fitted with the wrong offsets but some find spacers are required as the wheel is just to close or touches the calipers.

38mm would be further away from the caliper than an offset of higher
i have 2 sets of wheels
oz are 53mm and almost touch my caliper because of my big disc conversion
the rotars are 48mm , so are 5mm further away

i'd imagine a 38mm offset would stick out and look odd and could even foul the arches if the car is lowered and/or fitted with the wrong tyres
go for at least a 45mm

thanks guys,i have just had these given to me, looking at the inside they have mitsubishi stamped on them so i would say they have come of a evo, they are in good nick though so i might just swap the tyres over and see what they look like

But will they go on...Thought the evo's had differant stud sizes to scoob's. Distance between studs I'm talking about....

apparently Bob the last of the cars that had the dccd on them had the wheel stud altered thats why i can get those evo wheels on,ok they are to wide due to the offset,so i think i`ll put them up for sale at some point
