I have been asked to start a fresh thread as it has become confusing on the other thread about where to send cheques, when by, and also who is and isnt coming to the event etc etc.

So here is the up to date list with the details of where to send the cheques and when by. I am going to close the other thread so that everyone knows that this is now the only thread for this event.

No confirmation from derek as yet and jonny will let me know by end of week as he has some car problems at present. They both need to confirm either way by saturday as that is when payment is due.

If you know of some peeps then feel free to put them down as reserves at present and then we have them ready if needed.

Sorry guys, i have not been getting any emails from the board about replies to this thread.

I will not be able to Run on the day, my car is still being run in and have only done just over 300 miles, the car is only doing 5mpg making it undriveable.

I am going to try a few things to sort the fueling out. so i will be after some New Injectors.

I hope to come along and watch.

Will be in the Vectra though as i canot afford the fuel in the scoob


BTW whats the noise limit? i tested mine at 3500 rpm about 1 foot from the tailpipe @112db (Cheap maplins item)
i do have a silencer that will go in the back of an afterburner Vortex, i have not got the DB meter to see how much it lowers it by, but if i come along i will bring it in case its needed by anyone.

I have to say I am a bit dissapointed that I am the only confirmed Subaru.
These are fantastic days out and excellent value for money.

This event is still going ahead

I will be taking it a step at the time and will be following the following steps before talking to all participants and then as a group we will make the final decision


1) Arrive at Haynes
2) Get all payments
3) Get all indematy forms filled in
4) Get cars noise tested
5) After ALL cars are tested, find out the final numbers of those who have passed
6) If ALL cars have passed then proceed and pay for the track usage and set up track, if we are lower then 10 cars we will need to discuss the options open to us.

have spoken to haynes today and they have even cheeck the weather for us to see which way the wind is blowing and at present it is blowing away from the village! They are going to allow the cars to have a run or so to warm up before being tested as they said that reving when cold was not good for the cars.

I have to say i have been very impressed and reassured with how they are approaching this.

We can take upto 15 cars so you are more then welcome to join us. the cost is £30 for the day and we start at 9am as we need to be noise tested. There is no problem having a supra as we have evo's, scooby's etc i would just like to say there is going to a maximum noise test of 98db at 2 thirds of the maximum revs.
