We found this show By chance. Its on the 16th of september at the Lysley arms Chippenham. Would any one be up for going?

Have just spoken to the organiser of this event and he was very eager to have us along but at present he only has a space available for 3/4 cars. He is going to go to a meeting though which is due this coming week and he is going to see if he can arrange a club stand for around 20 cars max.
The cost of the stand is free but a small donation to the charity that it is supporting would be greatful. The charity is Springboard Opportunity group which helps and supports disabled children.
At this stage there would be no space for the usual display that we put up and no gazebos but im sure that this would not be a problem.
He will be getting back to me by the middle of the next week so i thought i would start a list just in case we are able to get the spaces. It is at a pub so we could even have a drink afterwards.

springboard is the place we were supposed to do last years santa cruise.
they are a opportunity group for disabled and special needs youngsters. they are struggling to keep the place going as they are not getting enough money to pay for the total cost oif running the unit.
i have worked with them several times when we shared special needs children they helped to train us to look after them properly. They are really hard workers and it would be an ideal charity to support. a very worthwhile cause.

Thats were i heard the name from - i knew they were local and we had planned to do something but couldnt think what!
They have a Raffle as well, i wonder if we have anything to donate as well. Until we know as to the space nothing can be certain but we can at least start the ball rolling and we have alot of members in the area who should be able to offer half a day!

I normaly work saturdays , but I can allways meet you all after work for a drink...

:smile: a mate has booked up a short break fri to mon, think we are staying in a chalet somewhere in torquay, not sure of which car will be going, probably mates skoda octavia vrs but might take 2, i will keep an eye on proceedings and if there is a meet we will try and make it, regards dave & tracey

we drove past this meet today and there was NO CARS it was all bikes...thats why he didnt get back to you...:frown:
