If you have a Scoob under warrettee and you get engine problems and found with a non scoob filter you could be in dire strates...I had a differant oil filter fitted by Tiley's BUT this was in a packaged with an Oil cooler kit..Scoobyclinic did not like this so changed the sndwich plate to a subaru filter fit one. But at only a fiver for a scoob filter is it worth the bother?

sh1t mate , , alot of tuners say NEVER use magnatex

i use motul v300 competition oil 15/50 , ideal for very modified scoobs
a 10/40 would be the best bet for standard or mildly modded but not magnatex

only saying what i read elsewhere

10/40 v300 fully synthetic for standard - mildly modified
15/50 v300 fully synthetic for heavily modified (this is what i use)

it aint cheap but look on opie oils website, cheapest i can find.
and i change mine every 1000 miles  cheaper than a new engine  (just)
