24 psi is way to much for a WRX...I would remove the chip and have the car remapped for a safe level of boost...What intercooler are you running...If you are on the topmount 18psi is the max I would run..On a good front mount 21psi is ok as long as you have supporting mods...After this level you really need to look at having the bottom end forged...Also be aware that the standard turbo is known to eat itself at levels above 21 psi..It snaps the shaft....

The level of boost you run will affect the mixture as the boost pressure affects the fuelling under boost through the pressure reg...The pressure is sent to the reg through the small bore vaccuum hose on the side of the manifold...This wont affect it under light load or at idle only under boost...The standard Subaru fuel map is always slightly rich anyway..Couldn't tell you much about the Collins chip as I have never seen a Subaru with one on...

Tec 3 seems very expencive to me.. I know its a £300-£350 licence fee but some cars are mapped in less than an hour so thats £300 an hour for the mapper. I have also seen Bob Rawle take all day to map a car and thats still the same price..Its no wonder Boosted complained when Powerstation only took 10-15 mins to do his car...That works out at about £1200 an hour...

I like to spend a minimum of 3 hours on any map...This gives me adequate time to do it and road test the car to check it's real world feel...

Yes...Ecutek has usefull live tuning data for ignition...I am also very often seen blatting up the road with a wide band lambda up the ass (LOL no smart remarks) to check the mixture in real world circumstances..I am a great believer in the fact that you can't map either completely on the road or completely on the dyno....You have to do both to get the best out of your car..
