Hoping for about 320bhp/300lb torque when its mapped and finished :D Only concern is in the second pic with the small bit of metal sticking out of it :( Is that a problem? Gonna try and get it wrapped as well as it should help with the heat under the bonnet :D

Bob you read my mind!!
I'm going to mention it to Derek who I assume will be doing the job anyways, so he can take a look at it...
Do you think having the heat wrap put on it Bob is a good idea?

You will find that you will have to cut heat sheilds. I lagged mine to help stop heat soak.

As you can see Graham has the right idea... Always worth lagging the downpipe...

Thanks guys :) Is there a particular wrap you need to use etc or would any do?
You can get this stuff at Holfords or Ebay most places do it there is also a sealer that comes with it or you can purchase it seperatly.

I'm sure Derek will sort it out for me when I ask him about it. I have to call him up and sort it out, finalise prices etc..

make sure you lag it like graham did
if you retain the original heat shield then you'll have to cut it , maybe scoobtastic could confirm this
if i ever got mine off again then i'd spray 4 or 5 coats of heat resistant spray then lag it , better than i did before lol , my lagging fell off and trailed behind the car :( , take yer time doing it and it should be fine

Yes agree with Dazza, Spray a few coats of Ceramic heat spray, then lay, then spray over the Lagging.
I just lagged mine, and i lagged the up pipe, the lagging has held, but should have coated it. keeps the Temps down and bushes the Torqe up.
was reading about this last night.
