I think your mad Ed
You should put all your money in one pot to get a newer Subaru then buy a diesel to put the miles on for work.
At the end of the day you'll end up with two high mile Imprezas worth next to nothing....the market has really slumped on these now.
Just my opinion...but I know how much you love these cars so I'm sure you will have two, or three if you could:smile:

so mine not good enough :sad-smiley-046: :sad-smiley-046: :getmecoat:
after a jap one mate :)
Jap cars are Ok but there are downsides to um..When I came to sale mine I wished I had gone UK...If you wanted a late classic my old Type R would have been a good buy for you..I would have snatched your arm off If offered £10k for it. Was thinking of breaking it and selling the parts as I just could not give it away...:sad-smiley-046:

I'm with Neil on this one...I do not see the point in retiring a scoob into the garage. Unless you are keeping it just for spare parts. As Neil says you will end up with two high mileage classic cars worth next to nothing. Much better off trading it in and getting a newer model. Also the cost of running a second car out wieghs the fuel used. I could have kept the rover for just running around but found maintaining it, insuring it and running it was just to expencive and it worked out much cheaper to just run the scoob.

nope - all talking sense - but love these machines so gotta have another one
Could end up with 5 or 6 classic's in the end....:hysterical: Could then open a museum for the classic range...
