If i have missed anyone off then please accept my appologies please add your name to the list

could i request that the list (only) be made a sticky somewhere to make it easier to keep track of people wanting to go

Also i am willing to open an account to start a savings fund for anyone wishing to save for this awesome experiance could i please have a list of people wishing to do so.

what i propose is that myself and one other (not Angie as it would be too easy for us to withdraw money) are joint signatures for the account and only the two of us together are permitted to withdraw money from the account

I will produce a payment card for each person/s wishing to save this way to keep an accurate individual record of your deposits ( you will also receive a copy)so that when the time comes to go, each person will receive exactly what they have saved and any interest can either be divided up amongst ourselves or given to Santa Cruise

As far as dates go I was thinking that the October half term 2006 would probably be best for most people and give us all time to save enough cash

£10.00 per person per week should more than cover the cost (this is not a demand just a suggestion)

Finally if you join the savings club and pull out you of the trip (for whatever reason) you will receive all your money back

Think about it and get back to me

I would estimate £450.00 for fuel £80.00 per night accommodation £50.00 per day for food plus Beer money
So if we go for say 5 days and stay for 4 nights it will be around £1020 plus ferries, beer, and birthday pressies per car based on 2 people per car

to be on the safe side i would allow £1500

these are only estimates but should give you an idea of what to expect
if the excellent planned Xmas party goes ahead then i recommend that this is one of the topics disccussed as we should all be attending and this needs to be discussed face to face

One more thing you need to think about what notice you need to give your respective employers regarding holiday bookings so we dont get any last minute "cant get time off" excuses

Cheers

Nick
