I had a VTA Dump valve the last 12 months. Ok i liked the noise it made, But now Ive started to mod the scoob I found it made the scoob jumpy on boost. So I have taken it off and gone back to the stock valve. It feels alot better on boost.

Odd mate should make no difference. You may have the wrong spring in your vta leaking a little boost could be sorted easily if you want the noise back
I still have some noise off the stock valve going off with the zero sports air filter, But not so loud. I changed it back tonight, Bob gave me a hand. ( he got his hand stuck under the intercooler) At one point I thought i had to remove the intercooler so Bob could get his arm out:hysterical: . I took the car out tonight for a run, It just feels better.

WTF was his hand doing under there anyway
unless he was looking for the pipe you had to re-connect
talking of which, don't suppose you kept the blanking plug did yer . i'm after 1 . prefer 25mm
Have just put mine back to standard dump valve, also feels loads better then when i had the bailey motorsports on there. pulls harder and alot smoother on boost, has also made the car run a bit richer whitch was what i was looking for. just sold the bailey on ebay for £50 whitch was a result as well.

Good move going back to the OE one
Had the same scenario too and ended up going back to the standard one...car seemed to drive much better.
I know the noise is a matter of preference.....I'm not keen on it
First thing I said to Graham when he sid he has surging on a stready throttle on motorway...friggin VTA dump valves... Mine lasted 4 days I soon dumped mine.
Had to ram my arm in right up to elbow to alow itto bend under intercooler to hold the pipe up so Graham could play with the clip and push on the new dump valve.. was under intercooler for about 10 mins and think the heat swelled um my arm slightly making it rather hard to remove...
Latest Mods.....body parts from Bob.....:hysterical:
Drove Grahams car yesterday... so smooth, so quiet I really liked it... So much differance to my loud bone shaker. I could even hear the radio...can only hear mine when parked up...:hysterical:
