I could tell you but I will Not.

The reason i will not tell you is.

A Bleed Valve is Dangerous, because it fools the ECU into thinking the car is running less boost than it is, this means you ar not getting the right air/fuel mixture that is needed to run the car properly.

And can Seriously Damage the Engine.

I will not assist anyone to do this as its Madness.

A MBC (Manual Boost Controller) or Dawes device is different alll together, as it manually controlls boost, but allows the ecu to see hou much boost is being run, which allows the car to have the right Air/Fuel mixture.
And is Safe.

i must admitt i thought the dawes device, MBC and bleed valve were all the same thing, i'm not really that bothered as it was free with the boost gauge, which now explains why it was given away, cheers for the advice, was only going to fit it till i could afford an electric boost controller.

thanx again

Agree Derek

Bleed valves are crude pieces of c**p which will screw your engine.

When superchip chipped my 200sx they fitted a bleed valve...:rolleyes1: Had a boost gauge to keep an eye on it and for two years it seemed to be OK. Expect its still on the car now...:hysterical:

Nothing wrong with a MBC. i run one, and have fitted them to a few other scoobies for people.

Their well worth the money.

A MBC and a Bleed Valve are two completly Different Items.

as above.

Bleed Valve:
This fools the ECU into thinking the car is running less boost than it is, this means you ar not getting the right air/fuel mixture that is needed to run the car properly.

And can Seriously Damage the Engine.

Where as

MBC (Manual Boost Controller) Otherwise known as a Dawes Device:

manually controlls boost, but allows the ecu to see hou much boost is being run, which allows the car to have the right Air/Fuel mixture.
And is Safe.

I will fit a MBC but Not a Bleed Valve

Many Thanks For Your Input Guys, Where Can I Get An Mbc From And Cost Of ??? Bleed Valve On Car Has Now Been Removed.... Phew !!

More Confused Now ??
What Is The Difference Between A Mbc Valve As To A Bleed Valve - I Have Just Put In Mbc On Google Images And The Device I Had Is An Mbc So It Seems - It Is Adjustable And Can Be Locked In Set Position, Just To Clarify If It Was Fitted Correctly Is The Oe Boost Controller By Passed With This Mbc Through To The Wastgate Or Does The Oe Boost Controller Have To Be Linked In To The Loop - Can Anyone Advise Please

The MBC goes in line from turbo to wastegate. It bypasses the O/E boost controller. The O/E boost controller usually has a pipe from the two outlets connected together this is just to stop crap getting into the controller if you wish to use it again at any point.
