Now i have de catted my 2003 wrx. I need a CEL fix for the odb11 sensor anyone know where i can find one or how to make a fix?

I found this on Ebay?

not listed, but I know mine came from there as I remember the bag.

You have to solder small wires onto your ecu, very small wires. Good luck.

havent seen that sort before, maybe you should buy them in bulk & sell them.

JD you have a point There. Im looking in to it. It took a week to get to me and cost 6 dollers to ship.:smile:

I have never seen the CEL come on, is it common on all de-catted models on a certain age range?
Mines fully decated and never seen it light up?

Im not so sure about this fix now. CEL has came on twice about every 200 miles. Ive Emailed the guy that sells them. Now he tells me i have to have the dot thats marked on it facing the rear. I will just have to wait till i clock up another 200 miles to see if my CEL comes back on.

Well. It seems to be working now. But Bob has sorted a back up just incase it starts playing up. Thankyou Bob.

When i decatted my 2001 wrx CEL light was on constantly. Looked into fixes and was told the only proven way to get rid of it was a remap!!!! SO that seems like a darn good excuse to me!!!!
or you could try buying your own OBD tool and software (laptop required)as i have done so i can see the fault, reset and fix!!! Rubbish on computers so will just leave the link. Cost me £50.00 total and has saved me a packet as well as my neighbours!!! www.obdtools.co.uk (http://www.obdtools.co.uk) (or com) cant remember!!
