The FSE does work, had them on plenty of cars.
Basically it is a Fule Pressure Regulator.
Throttle responce is much better, it increases the pickup by 1.5 times.

The car was good and reliable, with the Exception of the Apexi Power FC.
For some reason the rev limiter failed on mine, I know the apexi is meant to be good, and i think mine is a 1 off. had it less than 3 months before the fault.
The car is mapped for 97 ron, and the Fuel pressure is set at 3.2 bar 15psi Boost
I think it has injector problems as i am only getting 6-8 MPG around town and a MAX 15 Mpg on a run.

Up to you but I had one on an old car of mine and it made no difference at all and I've heard lots of negative comments about them recently.
May be different on the Subaru....expensive though so I'd do some more research though before parting with your hard earned cash:smile:

im my experience and opinion i have found the f.s.e to be an absoulote pain in the arse and a waste of money they are very hard to setup and make very minimal difference for the money

Ok, in order to keep WRX.CO.UK's thread to topic i am starting this thread.

I have to disagree,
i have had 6 cars with them on, now MK1 Astra GTE, MK Cav GSI, Mk3 Cavalier Turbo 4x4, Calibra Turbo 4X4, Peugeot 205 GTI and Now the Subaru.
I have also fitted them to two vehicles for a Friend, Peugeot 309 GTI & a Toyota MR2.
it is Very easy to setup, as they come pre-set to the specific vehicles FPR tollerance, and all you need to do is turn 1 screw no more than Quarter of a Turn.
I set mine up using a Fuel Pressure Guage, and every car i have had one fitted on has had a Noticable Difference.
the car runs smoother, it femoves flat Spots, a couple of the cars use to waver on idle, after fitting this it was smooth and held its rpm.
I have had 1 fail on me though, on the Mk1 Astra i burst both Diaphrams in the Valve, causing it to fail. the second diaphram is their in case the first fails but both mine went. the Manufacturers blamed contaminated fuel and refused to replace it was less than 2 months old.
I bought a new pair of diaphrams for £25 and never had another problem.
I also knew someone who fitted one and turned the screw about 3 - 4 turns expecting a huge increase, but lost power due to overfuling. I set it up with the Guage and it went well.
I believe it is all down to the Setup.

well i aint got 1 and ive got nearly 350 bhp (on a good day,lol)
i asked my mapper if i should get 1 and he said no , good enough for me :)

lol, with every mod you will have people who will say it works and people who say it does'nt
or this is better no that is Better.
I can Say 100% on every aplication i have mentioned inc the Subaru the FSE works and makes a Noticable difference.
