Drive away the post Christmas blues???
How does an enormous breakfast then a blast over Salisbury Plain (obviously oberving posted speed limits!) sound?? We have access to Imber (http://www.foreverimber.org.uk/) during the day as well, only open occasionally to the public, so make the most of it..
Sue at the Waney Edge cafe has very kindly offered to open especially for us on the sunday at 10:30, full choice of brekky available -full english to a bacon sarnie. Hopefully, her OH's RB320 will be there too!
Meet at the Waney Edge SN12 6DY at 10:30
Route across the plain is to be finalised - can accommodate a 'Shell' at Amesbury if required lol!
Anyone interested??

Access to Imber 1: roads are generally open over Christmas, Easter and during August
The army allows access to Imber 50 days in every year Easter: roads through Imber usually open.
August: this is the longest period during which Imber is accessible
Christmas: roads through Imber are generally open for the two weeks through Christmas and into the new year

Imber Is open, although ONLY the roads through it, you cant stop and wander around the village, if you get caught doing so it is a fixed penalty of £60 or if you give them grief, they are entitled by law to confiscate your veichle so be warned, also the roads are not gritted there and one stretch was about an inch thick yesterday (27th) in ice and on a bend so do be cautious, and the speed limit is 30mph on any of the military roads. Also, Imber is NOT where Clarkson took the SLK, sorry to be the bearer of bad news :(
Please remove my name from this, sorry, would have loved to come along.
