Brawn GP's Jenson Button's perfect start to the season continues as he wins the Malaysian GP after torrential rain sees the race Red flagged on lap 32.

BMW's Nick Heidfeld was second today and Toyota's Timo Glock finished third.
Drivers and teams only receive half the normal allocated of points, as the race ended before three-quarters of the scheduled laps were completed.

Their was much confusion, after the Race clock was Stopped seconds over the hour mark, when Regulations state The Race and the Clock will not Stop. Regulations also state that the Race will not exceed 2 hours, and drivers and teams were left on the grid unsure as to wither or not the race would continue, despite the drivers feeling the race should end their and then.

Confusion was still amidst some of the drivers such as Lewis Hamilton, who believed he had taken 5th place. and Timo Glock believed he had taken second place.
However Rules dictate that in the event of a stopped race the results will be taken from the last completed lap, this meant the results were given in order the drivers crossed the line on lap 31.

Since the race had gone past the 50 percent mark but not 75 percent, half points were awarded. But for Button, it was the chance to extend his championship lead from 10 points to 15, with Barrichello next on 10 from Trulli on 8.5. In the constructors' championship, Brawn have 25 to Toyota's 16.5.
