BigMikeLV

wow... I just read USD 1 = 0.576297 GBP
Sorry guys. :j_sad:
Edmondo
09-03-2006, 19:10 32
put it this way we pay almost £1 per litre of Fuel which would be in reality $1.90.................I bet you dont pay that much............to fill up here would cost about $100:eek:

WOW... ours has gotten worse but no where near that expensive.. how do you afford to drive? The most I paid for a GALLON was $3.33 USD (91 octane) 1 gallon = 3.75+/- litres. WOW you pay like $7.13 a Gallon..
now I pay $2.60 and I think thats High!
Edmondo
09-03-2006, 19:36 43
yep it is bloody expensive to fuel up over here....................depends on where you go - either pay 96p per litre for Optimax ( 98 Ron ) or Tescos ( large supermarket chain ) do 99 Ron for about 89 or 90p per litre but not many around the country do that. Most 97 Ron at normal petrol stations is about the same price as the Tescos 99 Ron.
Isnt your Ron measurement different to ours?

We use:
The pump octane is also referred to as the Anti-Knock Index (AKI). AKI is determined based on an average of the Research Octane Number (RON) and the Motor Octane Number (MON). The formula is RON+MON/2 normally abbreviated as R+M/2 on the pump.
