Head gasket went today so I will be building my new motor sooner than planned!:mad0213:

I am going to do a show and tell along the way for anyone whose interested.

It will start next week and needs to be done by the 22nd as its the cornwall/plymouth meet!:action-smiley-065:

Parts to get excited about include full closed deck block, sti8 crank, carrillo rods, wossenger forged pistons, ported heads, cosworth gaskets, rcm oil pump, and arp studs.

Parts I dont already have will come from enginetuner and the car will go there once its run in for mapping.:biggrin:

Why not save yourself some pennies and build a stroker like mine Steve, the 2.5 crank is cheaper than the 2 litre version and we keep the rods and pistons in stock.
The extra torque is a real plus and I suspect that on a GT35R you will want as much from the engine as you can get.

Since I saw you last I have picked up another cdb motor so that stroker may still be an option m8. I'm gona strip it to see wot the block is like first and then I will pop up and see you.

old engines on its way out of the car today, will strip it down and see if the pistons are ok for the CDB? Fingers crossed :).
