Hi All

I currently have a centre decat pipe and am thinking at some point of purchasing the turbo downpipe decat pipe, with both middle and front decatted will my car need a full remap ??????

Cheers Russ:smile:

You may get boost spikes with fully decatted, wouls be an idea to take full advantage of the decat.

Someone with more techy knowledge will be along at some point.

Russ, Mine ran perfect without a Re-map, as does Mr H's Impreza and Final Legacy's legacy. I know of others.
Some recomend a re-map, but i do not think it is a nessesaty, especially if you have a MBC.

I am also going to move this to the Technical Forums, but leave a link from this forum.

not needed but you would get better gains from having it mapped

my mapper, bob rawle, is popping down to plymouth to map 2 scoobs through me , i could have a word if you like, see if he can fit you in ;)
then if you need a tweak at all,in case of further mods it's only 150 at a time.
the dear bit is buying the license and the first map, think bob is around £600
but then a tweak is £300 but returning customers get 50% off :)

Highly illegal though and risky with roadside spot checks.

Sports cat could be an option but expensive...I paid around 300 notes for mine!

you cant remap your car...........unless you spend stacks......

you can only alter the restriction orriface from the turbo to the actuator....

i personally dont recomend a bleed valve for your car.....

you will need your car tuned after fitting a decat downpipe as you will have minimal backpreassure which meens your car will boost more and if you havnt uprated your fuel pump you will run lean and suffer det.........

this is the advise that i was given by power engineering..............
