lambda sensor

has anyone got or know where i can get a lambda sensor for my downpipe as the one i have has snapped ...... :ranting: :character0110:

you can get a Universal one from Pat williams for about £35... they only seem to last about 6 months though..

how many wires do you have and what colour? is it the short loom or the long loom... will see if i have a secod hand one... If not i will see if i can locate one...

a Genuine one is about £250

the sensor has snapped so i have the long loom with half a sensor . i will drop it off to you in the morning as i have to go to newton abbot to pick up my new chip if that is ok ?

As Derek said the universal ones don't last long,

I properly got through 2 within six months, the coating on the wire's melt and it then just shorts out.

Be better of paying the money and getting a proper one. I'm never getting a universal one again.

£210 + delivery from Graham Goode, that's where I got mine.

It is the EGT sensor that shane has broke... so not really an issue...

o.k different sensor, but he did say lambda sensor.

And you said that universals don't last long,

So sort of along the same lines that universals aren't really any good in the long run no matter what sensor it is.

i must of bought a good one then its done 40`000miles cost me 38quid it is in the downpipe though not the headers and mixture is spoton
