tracker !

i have a tracker monitor fitted to the scoob and its time for renewal. the problem i have is they cant pick up my car, but they have just taken my cash! now they have sent a second signal to the car and i have to ring back tomorrow.

if they cant pick up on it they have to send an engineer out to sort it , (prob to replace the battery) and that will cost 80 quid !

can it be changed without an engineer and does it have to be reprogramed too?

help please !

If It is the RAC Trackstar + you can do it yourself.... CR2032 battery...

Should power right up... no need to re-program... when my scoob was off the road for over 6 months with no battery i had to replace mine... and it started working right away.

its not a RAC trackstar, it is a Tracker Moniter

The batteries on the Tracker's cannot be changed by yourself, as the the unit is fitted in a location so as to keep it secure. (Only tracker themselves should know where the unit is fitted)

Won't be reprogrammed as such, just the system will be re-initalised to check all is ok

i watched them fit mine so i know where it is... but i wont ever be touching it to many screws and wires was moved around for my liking :annoying_cut:
