Wiscombe Hillclimb - National Championship Round

In case there is anyone left in the Southwest who isn't going to the Devon car show, Woolbridge motor club is hosting the National Hillclimb Championship round at Wiscombe this Sunday 27th July (Nr Honiton, Devon). There will be some fairly serious machinery going up the hill including a 600bhp audi S4, various single seater racing cars and if you are really lucky you get to see a moderately fast white subaru blast up the hill too :wink:

I'll be up against Den Connibear in his 22b and Simon Neve in an Evo 9. Mike Potter is running his Subaru but is in a different class because it is the Nationals (something to do with type of licence)

Steve, Deano isn`t running the championship this year although I believe Endean is. Keep an eye out for Martin Groves and Scott Moran as they are both in unbelievable form with the two of them leaving the Guernsey round fighting for the title. Have only heard rumours of what the Audi is like but from what I understand its worth seeing

I really wanted to but I am on holiday. It's a bummer really because I really loved that hill and I need a few more goes to get that last left hander right!
