diff oil

hiya guys can some please please help, i need to know how to check the oil on the diff and also what type of oil to put in it if it needs some, as its making a screaching noise

there r 2 plugs on the back plate of the diff top 1 is the level. bottom is the drian oil shell Ls 80/90

I've just looked into my diff oil and its 70/90 I've a 2000 turbo uk thow I phoned a local auto factors and they told me off my reg do nt no if that helps m8 ?

It should be as Worker says 80/90 Semi Synthetic.... shell Ls is what they use... Worker is the Top Mechanic at Tiley's Of Bristol...(Main Subaru Dealer) and he knows his Stuff... Unlike the local motor factors...
