I know it's the opposite to what most people want to know but I'm taking off a boost gauge (and other gauges) from my 98 model car.
It takes it's feed from a stub(?) in the n/s front manifold, right next to the coils.
I understand from looking at other fitting instructions that this take off point is normally unused - can someone tell me how the take off is normally blanked.
It looks like the 97 + 98 models differ from others, earlier ones you T into a pipe & the later ones have a different manifold (different coil pack mounting etc).

Thanks

Thanks for the reply, didn't want to cut the existing boost gauge feed as only just long enough, mate of mine suggested local Lucas who has a similar blanking tube off the shelf normally to fit diesels - problem sorted.

ps-Vospers in Truro did find the tube on their computer, only a couple of quid but none in country & could not give ETA.
