One of my friends who also has owned scoobs for many years has just gained the mechanic job at Blades subaru garage in Gloucester. He's a fully trained technician who has also worked at other subaru garages & with other car manufacturers.
He comes highly recommended & does all the work on my car, so far including servicing, cam belt change, cosmetic modifications but he also helps many others out with problems.
A sound bloke who won't take you for a ride & can help get cheaper parts for you. If there is something he can't do he'll let you know & give you advice where to go.
If anyone needs anything doing or even just some advice, he doesn't mind me giving out his number, so just send me a private message & i'll forward on his number to you.
