Just a quick one which i think is a valid one

there is always the situation on who goes where on the stand plans

i think the club would benefit from a show and shine front row!!

memebers who think there car is the gleamest can all scrub them up and put them on the front road alongside the 2 tiley cars


and the winner could get a small trophy

and at the end of the day it ensures the front of house looks good and it adds a bit of fun and banter before,during and after the show

I can see where your coming from but just not to sure about 'show n shine'.
How about an "SWS Feature cars" section this could be show n shine or engine bays or big mods, etc.

people can ask for there car to be put at the front then put it to a vote to see which ones we would like to see

i thought that the cars was rotated even when placed on stand.

i do agree on both which has been said. the stand is like a shop window, you should put your best or cleanest cars in the window ie front row so people can see them and then look around the shop ie the stand. but this is my opinion

I think as we have proved this year nearly everyone that has come onto the stands have taken time & pride in polishing there cars when they arrive and some do there engines prior to shows. :wink:

I think a club insentive might be good a kind of show and shine as Kris has said with a trophey as a prize :smile: ( and a free bacon butty) :biggrin:

As for the display side of things as we put a thread up prior to events with a idea of how the stand will look and we give members the Opportunity to make suggestions and comments then. So i don't think another vote is nessesary.:smile:

Gav is right its nice to try and give everyone a chance at the front if possible re space. I don't think it would be nice for anyone to be stuck at the back all the time. :rolleyes1:

How about starting at one end have the cars in date order from the oldest to the newest incorperating the different versions and body types sort of a brief history if you like.

it not all about how clean you car is , what about how much work you have had done aswell (mines not the cleanest)

people come to look at the modded cars aswell not just the clean ones

lol thats good to know, i must try and polish mine but im against the "spending your day off to polish a car that's gonna be dirty in a matter of days theory"
