Oil filter sandwich plate fitting.

I assume that this is just a case of:-

1. Remove the filter and letting drain as necessary
2. Fit sandwich plate
3. Fill filter
4. Fit filter
5. Top up oil
6. Run engine for a couple of minutes
7. Top up oil to correct level

Please confirm that this is correct.

fitted mine in the top of the block....one under the interwarmer and one where the original preassure switch was....
