we do have a ps3 in the house sometimes as George my son has one and brings it with him most of the time he's hooked on guitar hero 3 at the mo - got it a year ago - would say its good, graphics r great, but there's more game choice on xbox 360 and you do pay through the nose for accessories like extra controllers and stuff on ps3, but don't regret buying it! ; )

I have had them All...

I have had 2 Wii Consoles... they are good fun and can keep you fit at the same time.

Xbox 360 is good... had mine a month and got bored of it due to not many games... this was when it was first released..... thought about getting another one...

Then along came the Ps3.... No compromise... and i certainly will not be going back to Xbox now... the PS3 wins hands down.

I have a PS3 and a WII both are fantastic in their own way but i am totally hooked on Guitar Hero 3 and now Guitar hero Aerosmith edition never had an xbox never want one always had Playstations 1 2 & 3

Does depend on what sort of games you like.
If your not too bothered and just want a bit of laugh then the wii is good but its not very in depth.
The Xbox 360 would be my choice though.
The ps3 does not have the support or games and the online isn't very good by comparisson.
If you like playing on line it has to be the 360.
Good games on xbox 360:
Call of Duty 4
Forza Motorsport 2
Beijing 2008 (olympics)
Grand Theft Auto 4
Gears of War

the PS3 is a fair way behind the XBOX 360 in terms of development though Olly in time i'm sure the online gaming will be just as strong

no one has mentioned that you can route all your music/pictures/video from your pc through your wireless hub or powerline conection, if you download films from bit torrent etc you can veiw on your tv and surround sound through the xbox, this is through windows media player and media centre, not sure what ps3 offers.

The PS3 offers in my opinion far better Game play, online is FREE and I have never had any problems, the multimedia side is second to none and again better than the xbox 360, I have owned both and now own 2 PS3's having sold my 360!

best games on PS3 - COD4 - GTA4 - MGS4 and the list goes on...... OH AND BLU RAY no one supports HD DVD anymore

PSP is ok i guess

but thats my opinion :-)

oh and when Sony finally Finish HOME PS3 will simply blow the Xbox away, they are also adding rewards in game and fully integrating the XMB into online games in everyway
