They are getting better Kris. There are more and more things to do each time.

Just had a look around again and they have just added a handling circuit :rolleyes1:

They have some trade stands there but nothing special and the last time we went there was hardly anything but that was in the winter and the last one of the year.


To be honest with you Kris, it is all right in the morning watching the races but the afternoon does get a bit boring not unless you are racing yourself :wink:

You can put any thing you like on it, well as long as it is drivable :biggrin:

We are getting there for about 10.30am and because i am racing you go to the left and park anywhere :wink:

But you will need to get in the que for a safety check on your car and then que up to race :party0040:

Last word on rules for the Jap championship
Enginetuner Japanese performance drag racing series held over five rounds this year.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Rules

<o:p></o:p>
Eligible cars are Japanese built, with Japanese engines, in three classes.<o:p></o:p>
If you are clever enough to fit an engine from one Jap car into another one, well good on you, as we like to encourage ingenuity<o:p></o:p>
Road legal street cars, on road legal tyres only.<o:p></o:p>
Cheeky cheats will be dealt with on a “spirit of the rules” basis by the organisers, whose decision will be final.<o:p></o:p>
Championship decals will be provided which MUST be displayed either side of the car.<o:p></o:p>
What you have to do to enter.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
The scrutineer will give you a special number if you want to do the series.<o:p></o:p>
Do “run what you brung” until 1.00pm<o:p></o:p>
Bring your fastest elapsed time slip (obtainable from the timing hut) between 1.30 and 2.00pm to the Enginetuner stand<o:p></o:p>
We will choose the top 8 for each class based on elapsed times and post the numbers on the board at the Enginetuner stand.<o:p></o:p>
If you see your number, come and see us, bring a mere £5 and fill in the entry form.<o:p></o:p>
Line up in the special assembly area, and do what the nice man says.<o:p></o:p>
First runs start at 2.30 pm<o:p></o:p>
When you have done your first run, park up, then come back and check the board.<o:p></o:p>
If you made the top 4 in your class, your number will appear on the board.<o:p></o:p>
If you made the cut, line up once more and do what the nice man says again.<o:p></o:p>
Second runs start at 3.15 pm<o:p></o:p>
When you have made your second run, park up and check the board again.<o:p></o:p>
If your number appears on the board again, you are indeed a Driving God, and you are in the final.<o:p></o:p>
Line up again, and remember, this time it’s a RACE, elapsed time won’t count for a win, so you’d better go some.<o:p></o:p>
Finals start at 4.00 pm<o:p></o:p>
If you are fated enough to win, stick around, as you’ll get £40 for a class win when the prizes go out at 4.30 pm assuming we get a full entry - and a trophy for the fastest elapsed time overall.<o:p></o:p>
We will store points for you from the first and subsequent meets, as your number will stay the same for the year. At the last meeting glittering prizes will be handed out to the lucky winners of the series.
