Had an email the other day:

Dear Prodrive fan

We will shortly be confirming the dates of our 2008 Open Days and hope you will be able to join us later this year for what will be another memorable weekend.

In the meantime, please be advised of our next Subaru World Rally Team drive days at our Warwickshire proving ground which I know several of you have already experienced.

If you haven't had a chance to take part in this exciting drive day with professional instruction, then you should seriously consider taking part this year!

Our next days are Thursday 15 February, Friday 16 February and Saturday 17 February.

During the full day you will experience:
*Skid control on our wet grip skid pan - one of just a handful of surfaces in the UK for the public to experience
*Powerslides on the acrylic skid circle
*High speed driving and cornering on our 1.5 mile circuit
*Off road action in deep ditches, water-filled gullies and steep inclines and descents
*Adrenalin excitement on the tarmac rally stage

The cars you will drive include Subaru Impreza STi, Subaru Legacy spec B and Subaru Forester 2.5XT.

An SWRT World Rally Car will be available to sit in and have your photo taken and there will be an opportunity to purchase SWRT merchandise at discounted prices.
Refreshments and lunch is also included.

The full day costs £299 per person and to book your place please e-mail Subarudrivedays@prodrive.com or contact Sharon Underwood by telephoning 01676 536006.

We look forward to seeing you.

Further details at www.prodrive.com/events.

Great how they invite us to drive on track and when we purchase a subaru they try to get pics of us on track so as they don't have to honor the warrentee. Think this is a bit of a farce as most subaru dealers are offering test drives on track. I know a few Scoob owners who have come unstuck taking a warreteed car on track.

Well last year me and bob had to sell are tickets at the end as it was on the same day as festival of motoring, which we planned for a show day.

So i don't know what you want to do?

So far i can't find anything about that show yet (festival of motoring). Not unless any body else has yet

The 2008 Coventry Festival of Motoring is scheduled to take place on the first weekend in September and entry details are likely to be available in the early Spring.
