You will notice, a few changes to the std User Accounts, a few of the features you currently have will no longer be Available to you without a Subscription.

While South West Scoobies is a Free site for All members, we have to Generate revenue to cover the £80 Per Month Server fees, and in order to raise these funds on a Monthly Basis it is Necessary for us to to add Paid Membership options, Without these Funds we would not be able to pay to host the forums. and we would regrettably have to close the forums.

In order to prevent this we have taken steps we deem necessary to prolong the life of the club.

Option 1. SWS MEMBER + £10 For 12 Months

Custom User Title
SWS Member + Tag
Infractions
Signatures
Classifieds
Arcade
Member list Active
Ability To Buy Tickets for shows and Display your car on the club Stand.


Option 2. SWS ADVANCED MEMBER £20 For 12 Months Renewal £15

500 P.M Storage
P.M Read Receipts
Custom User Title
Advanced Member Tag
Infractions
Signatures
Classifieds
SWS Gallery
Arcade
Member Blogs. (Create your own Blog on SWS)
Profile Pictures
Attachments Enabled
SWS Image hosting Facility... Host Images and link to them externally
Ability To Buy Tickets for shows and Display your car on the club Stand.
Access All Area's.
Access to workshop data manuals.
Discount at various Outlets.
Buyer / Seller assistance.
SWS Membership Card.
SWS T Shirt
SWS Web Url Sticker For your Car.


Option 2 Only.

1 additional Advanced membership for someone in the same household £10 excluding Keyring & Sticker.
Advanced Membership Renewal for Membership renewed within 3 Months of Expiry £15 No T Shirt or Sticker.



Option 1 can be purchased via the vBulletin system..... by clicking the link Below, your Account will be Instantly Upgraded.

Option 2 has to be purchased via the Scoobiestore...... Click the link below, Your Account will be Upgraded, as Soon As I am Available.... Usually within a few Hours but may take up to 48 Hrs in extreme Circumstances.

Anybody who appreciates the site ande likes the car would not think twice about £25 a year...

at the same time it keeps plonkers off line...

Yes this is the same as Scoobynet, it is a default feature built into vBulletin...... Usually used by Moderators.... but can be used by any user-group...

I have been asked to clarify some of the other features...

Custom User Title

Your user title is located Under your username, and at present is represented by characters from Scooby doo, they change the more you Post.

You will be able to enter your own title, or text of your choosing.

SWS Member Tag

This is the Image displayed underneath your Username, it lets everyone see you have supported the club and have paid a membership fee.

Classifieds

From now on No Ads will be permitted outside of the Classifieds Area.

Ok thanks for clearing that up Derek. One other thing, is option 1 and 2 for 12 months like it says in the post or lifetime like it says in the banner?

Thanks for Picking up on this error Tiny, The banner was Made before the vote was complete by the Advanced Members as to the duration of the Membership.

I have changed this...to A Year....

At the AGM. the Membership was again re-structured into two options.

Option 1 Member+ & Option 2 Advanced Member.

The £5 option is no longer available.

Those who paid for the £5 option have had a free upgrade to the £10 option Member+

Tickets will only be sold to paid members, and paid members are only permitted to buy for themselves their partner and children, or for another paid member... Tickets cannot be purchased on behalf of a non paying member or guest, for Shows in 2008, and only paid Members will be able to display their car on the SWS Stand.
